A civilian guard of honour was presented to Ms Sarwat Shah on arranging an Inclusive Tree Palantation Drive for persons with disabilities. Children with visual, hearing and physical impairement and wheel chair users gathered to celebrate the 75th Independence Day at Mazar e Quaid and offer fatima to our Quaid.
This was a historic event and brought together the spirit of collaboration and unity among organisations working for the inclusion, rehabilitation and empowerment of PWDs.
Sarwat Shah voluntarily serves on the Advisory Board of Khaas Foods, a startup led by blind siblings with high ambitions. Khudi has signed an MOU with KFK to provide complimentary venue to host Dining in the Dark awareness and sensitisation sessions for corporates and students. These events are regularly held at Khudi Headquarters to promote Diversity Equity and Inclusion highlighting the achievements of Visually Impaired Individuals and spreading the message of inclusion among the participants.
Blind Entrepreneur secures Angel Investment from Khudi Foundation
Adeel Raja, first visually impaired software engineer of Pakistan, recently secured an angel grant from Khudi Transcend Program in a ceremony held at NIC Karachi.
Transcend 369 is a Mentorship and Angel Investment for PWD led Start-ups by Sarwat Shah that enables them to kick start their journey in the startup ecosystem
