campaign for empowerment of women
In celebration of Mother’s Day, Khudi launched a unique campaign to empower women, inviting stories of resilience of mothers from our Community Partners VOA, Al Furqan, Kiran Foundation, SOP and IHRI. The winning stories were awarded with a 100 Sq yards plot sponsored by NISA Block.

Ms Sarwat dedicated these prizes to her mother, mother in law and grandmothers to pay a tribute to their role in her life. The prizes mostly went to moms with humble
backgrounds.

Ghazala’s story of raising a burns survivor daughter touched the hearts of the Jury. Afshan, mother of a Down syndrome daughter and Kiswa’s mom from Lyari have already received their plot files in NISA Block.
